The requirements you outline in the Chronicle of Philanthropy for a director of
donor development closely match my background and abilities. Until December I was Director
of Development in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver.
Although I've enjoyed a successful career in fundraising and have found the last several
years intellectually stimulating and financially rewarding, I've decided to change
direction slightly and put my skills and experience to work in areas more directly related
to human and social service. Those skills include:

Major gifts cultivation and
solicitation;
Planned giving;
Special events;
Community relations including public
speaking, recruiting, training;
Writing and publishing.
