Two or three times each year CareerLab® sponsors a television call-in night. We provide career counselors, psychologists, attorneys, and other experts to answer career questions from the public. It is not uncommon for us to take 500 calls in one evening.)

BARBARA BRANNEN July 27, 20
William S. Frank Dear Bill, I recently received your correspondence explaining what CareerLab® does and after all these years I can't believe I only knew half of what you do. It was a very good letter and very inspiring to someone like me. I was interested in the diversity of the group that you had put together and of the other services that are available to us through your organization. CareerLab® has always meant quality and your recent services to us have reemphasized that point. We are continuing to do in-house assessments of individuals using your organization and Harry,(CareerLab's Senior Vice President) but if there are others that you think could assist with this and particularly with the new project that we are taking on, which is doing a baseline assessment of all our managers' skills, I would be interested in hearing from you. Congratulations on your growth and your success, we are really looking forward to a continuing business relationship with your organization. With best regards,
Barbara Brannen
HYPERLINK, Inc. April 8, 20
Mr. William S.Frank Dear Bill: I am remiss in sending you congratulations in your new location and expansion of CareerLab®. I too have been rather busy with my career. I don't recall whether I advised you that I had worked for Syntellect, Inc. as its Manager of Contract Administration. After working there less than six months, I was laid off. I shortly found a job for a company which was across the street from Syntellect, and found employment as the Manager of Contract Administration. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to Director of Contract Administration. My current position with HyperLink, Inc., is as its General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Vice President, Contract Administration. I not only hold this position for HyperLink, Inc., but also for various other HyperLink subsidiaries, including HyperLink Latino America, HyperLink International, HyperLink Europe Limited, Inc., HyperLink Manufacturing Resources, Inc., and a slew of other smaller companies. HyperLink is currently on a severe growth curve, with another year soon to close on double digit growth (37%), and this year alone has expanded its manufacturing capacity in four additional continents. Within the next six months, I anticipate having to enlarge the department and add additional staffing to assist in the day-to-day operations of the various divisions. I doubt if I would have been able to obtain this position if it were not for the advice and support I received from CareerLab® when I was laid off from McDATA. THANKS! Sincerely, Peter J. Swanson (Editor's note: Tom Martino is an NBC consumer affairs reporter.) June 10, 20 Dear Bill, Tom Martino spoke well of your firm on his radio program yesterday. Tom was complaining, in his usual obnoxious, yet popular, style about professional services who charge in advance for their programs. CareerLab® was cited as one who does it right by using a pay-as-you-go system. Continued best wishes to you! Richard A. Westin
Porter Memorial Hospital/Littleton Hospital January 5, 20
Mr. William S. Frank Dear Bill: This letter of acknowledgement and appreciation is long overdue. I have been meaning to write for some time to express my sincere appreciation for you and the rest of the team which makes up CareerLab®. Porter and Littleton Hospitals have been through a number of substantial changes during the last three years. Although the transitions have been difficult at times, our decision to use CareerLab® as a resource for departing employees has been one of the better decisions made. I have been impressed not only by the level of customer service and professionalism which is a CareerLab® constant, but also by the sensitive, personalized attention each person receives from the CareerLab® team. You and Harry have both been flexible, available on short notice, and terrific at keeping communication open. I have been able to focus on other aspects of our changes more easily, knowing that the employees referred to you are receiving the attention that they need. I have heard from a number of our former employees who have used CareerLab® as a resource. Each has had positive comments about the personalized attention they have received. Many, with your assistance, have been able to make a difficult transition into a positive situation. I value our relationship with you, and the rest of the CareerLab® team. With wishes for continued success,
Richard (Rich) Hegstad |
