Jean M. Heilig, MBA, MLIS, research and information consultant, is Vice President of Knowledge Management at CareerLab. Until December, 2004, she was Senior Director of Research and Information for a virtual library initiative and Library Director of an online university. At the virtual library she was involved with content acquisition, development, and review and is instrumental in project management including Web design, content, and technology requirements.
Previously, Ms. Heilig was the program coordinator for the Library and Information Science graduate program at the University of Denver, where she managed all program logistics, personnel, and student issues. She obtained her master's in library science from the University of Denver, her MBA from the University of Colorado, and holds a certificate in Competitive Intelligence from Drexel University. In addition she is an adjunct faculty member in the Library Science Master's Degree Program and the Master's of Technology Management Degree Program at the University of Denver.
